With Christmas around the corner, I thought I would ask everyone what is your Christmas Day morning/day tradition? I want include everyone so if you celebrate something else please share too.
The one Christmas morning tradition I do and have since I was little is making cinnamon rolls with hot chocolate. After the opening of gifts we go to my parents house then as a family we go to the candlelight vigil at church.
I look forward to hearing from you all of your traditions.
Hi Jen, Christmas Day for me is spent over at my Sister-in-laws house. She has all the neighbours around for drinks before lunch so I am busy topping up peoples glasses and serving a few selection of nibbles (that won’t spoil Christmas lunch/dinner). Once they have left, I take the dog for a walk before the whole family sit down to Christmas Dinner. We usually open gifts after dinner. Most of the family then fall asleep but I like to relax in front of the TV for a few hours before finally retiring. Boxing Day is even busier!

Yeah, I used to go to Church but then something happened which caused me to stop. Then I started going again, but I would get anxious just because so I stopped again.
We celebrate Hanukkah like Christmas and we light the Menorah.

I used to go to Church but don’t anymore, so now I just wait for my mom to come over and we all open our gifts. Later we go to my Grandpa’s. For Hanukkah, we go to my Aunt’s.

Thank you for sharing! I know church can be hard on all holidays because it’s so packed! It’s hard for me sometimes and I have had to leave before because of my anxiety. I would love to hear more about Hanukkah at your aunt’s.
